I had very fond memories of playing Viper Racing.  Upon loading it up just
now, those memories have been shot to pieces...

Hasn't this been out for some time now?  I thought I could remember downloading
the patch from Sierra's site a while back.

Or longest time between when a patch is released and a website gets
it? I think the 1.1 patch is about 3 years old.

I think the 1.23 beta patch is independently developed and is not official.

I thought so too.

I use the 1.2.x beta because it works beautifully under Windows XP.
