Hi
I`m using viper UK retail version and I cannot seem to patch it to version
1.1
I`m sure that the retail is version 1.0.
When I run the patch it tells me that Race.bin is not a valid version.
Any ideas? Thanks

    I was gullible<sp?> enough to try updating to 1.1 using the Sierra "auto
Update".  There is no patch yet. So, Good try, You fooled me. grrr ;-)

        whoops,  I should have read the "subject" line closer.  I only saw "1.1
patch", I didn't see "Viper".  whoops ;-)

An alternate patch is required at this point in time to enable you to run the 1.1 version of
Viper. You can download this patch from http://www.shadows.com/nascar/. This is an unofficial
patch for the Intenational versions, direct from MGI Racing. The file is zipped, so you will
need a zip utility like Winzip or PKunzip to extract it from the archive. Extract the RACE.EXE
file to your Viper Racing\Data directory, then run the game from that executable file. You now
have Viper 1.1.
