Are you using a separate game card, or the joystick port off a sound
card ?

You might want to try a separate card if you haven't.

I think 2 things are at play here.  One is the frame rate.  You are more
than likely used to the way the car handled and with a slower frame
rate.  With the 200 you are greatly increasing your frame rate and
things react differently.  The other is probably tied to your gameport.
If you don't have a speed adjustable game port the timing involved in
polling your joystick has been increased.  Now a minor twitch of the the
wheel/joystick is now a major twitch of the wheel/joystick.  I think you
will find you can control ICR2 (which needs a delicate touch to begin
with) better with a dedeciated speed adjustable game card.
