F1 2000: watch for yellow flags`

by * Leon » Sun, 09 Apr 2000 04:00:00

Hi

I constantly hear the call about yellow flags
and spins but has not once seen any flags
which  sometimes has me thundering right
into a pile up ( which was not caused by me ).

Which graphic settings will allow flags to
actually show up ??

I am using a TNT card.

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure, only because I havent seen it yet.  But, I don't think that
there's actually yellow flags.  There is supposed to be a yellow LED that
lights up on your wheel, when you come into a caution area.

I believe there are none. I would go with the yellow light on the
wheel theory that someone else mentioned :-)

I can concur. No flags but two yellow lights come on your dash. Not a very
accurate feature here...

The new regulations for 2000 state that all cars have blue, yellow, and red
lights on the dash or wheel.these lights are controlled by FIA officials
only, this is mandatory for ALL cars this year,so no more arguments from
drivers about not seeing the flags. So ISI did get this right!

Soi guess that equals F1 a lot safer for flagers. Wow I never knew that. =)

The FIA still mandates corner workers during Formula 1 races.

I heard during the Melbourne GP that there have been a few problems
getting the lights to work properly, and in Melbourne at least, only
the red light was going to be used.
