Here's some odd questions....

I'm most comfortable with the Fararri.  At WGI I finnaly hit a 1:06.
Woohooo!  My problem with it however is that I'm not sure of where I
should be shifting (rpm).    At the moment my shift point is at 12:00 on
the tach.  I'll assume that that's 10,000 rpm(?)  I have the very basics
of setup knowledge, or, I know if I change this item I should get that
result.  I just haven't a clue when it comes to gearing.  Any help with
understanding the gearing issue would be greatly appreciated.

VROC.  Yesterday I downloaded everything to race online with.  Ran a
couple races with major warping.  Today I read everything on the VROC
site as to setting up my computer and dialup for online racing.  Now
that I'm setup that way I can't find anyone to race during the times I
have the best connection to..  (9:00am - 1:00pm EST)   After 1:pm  my
connection gets worse and worse. To the point where by 6:pm if I
disconnect, I'll get nothing but bussy signals till nearly 11:pm. AND it
takes forever to to load up a new web page.  You get the point..  What
I'm after is a day and time durring the week that there will be a few
drivers online waiting to race GPL.  when would that be?

Sounds like you need a new ISP, Mike.

When you want to know the upper limit of shifting, just take a ride
with an AI driver riding the car of your choice....

I usually attempt to host a few races on and off all day Thursday.  But
it sounds as if your ISP is overselling it's bandwidth (especially
during peak usuage time).
