     I just increased my RAM from16MB to 48 MB and installed a Monster
3D accelerator card to go along with my Diamond 3D 3000 graphics card.

    The difference in playing the demo was like night and day. The
frame rates stayed constant,so the choppyness and periodically
stopping of my car totally disappeared.

     Now that I know that CPR will run on my P166. I'm still going to
wait and see what the patch does and doesn't do.

     BTW,with all the talk lately about the Voodoo2,the Monster 3D has
3Dfx Voodoo graphics.

Joel,

You will definitely get your $$$ worth out of that Monster 3d ... Its
the best $170 I ever spent on my system.  BTW, I'm not sure what you
were trying to say in your last sentence (see above)...

But the Diamond Monster 3d is a Voodoo card -- it doesn't have the new
voodoo 2 chipset which won't be out until March ...
