Install CD needed for Nascar Pro Digital wheel

by rwe.. » Sun, 16 Jul 2000 04:00:00

Does anyone have the install CD for the Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital
wheel?  I just bought one from an online dealer, but it was missing the
install CD.  I've downloaded the latest driver from
www.thrustmaster.com, but it requires you to have already installed the
wheel.  Can anyone get me a copy? Or e-mail the files to me if they're
not too big?

Thanks,
Rainer Weitz

I wasnt impressed with the Guilimot drivers...Just select> HID game
controller: 3 axis 8 button joystick.(in the control panel under game
controllers) That will make it work just fine

In  the Control Panel in Windows, go into Game Controllers, remove whatever
is there....Click on add, then look for the HID game controller: 3 axis 8
button, select it, then calibrate it...dont forget this is if you are using
it in a USB port, and dont forget to calibrate the contols in your game
too..Happy Motoring

Unfortunately, "HID game controller" is not an option on my
system.  Is there something else you have to load before this
option is available?

Wow, i stand corrected..O.K, trying to remember what i really did. I removed
the bogus TM drivers and apps, plugged the wheel back in the USB port (comp
still on) and either did it from there or in Game Controllers under Add and
then going to Add Other and then hilighting the (standard game device), and
then either it popping up automatically or selecting it...I know that i had
no drivers or TM software installed, and plugged the wheel back in after
restarting the comp....Sorry for the confusion guys, its been about a
year.....
