Is Nascar Digital Pro wheel worth it?

I see the Digital Pro wheel is around $45-$50 on the Thrustmaster site.  I
have an old Nascar Pro that has seen many laps, and better days.  It's time
to upgrade....
 Thanks

OK, back to my original question, that you seemed to overlook.  Is the
Nascar Pro Digital worth buying?  Be it either 1 or 2.
Thanks

Is Nascar Digital Pro wheel worth it?

I've owned the Nascar Pro Digital for more than 1.5 yrs and it has performed
flawlessly. The only thing I can recommend is don't load Thrustmaster's
driver software. Allow Windows (98) to recognize it as a HID 3 axis 8 button
controller. I have used mine in the following games; GPL, Nascar4 & 3,
Nascar Heat, F1 2000 cs, NFS Porsche Unleashed, SCGT, Viper Racing, Rally
Championship, Superbike 2001.

Why is that Tom?  And are you able to map buttons to function keys

I would recommend it for what happened to me just this week.....I finally
wore the "bungee" out on my ProDig2 so I ordered an ActLabs RS, (thinking it
was beyond hope to repair)...a friend suggested I call Guillemot, (was TM),
and ask for a replacement bungee assembly....I called them and they are
swapping my whole wheel out...no hassle!!
The ActLabs got here today, but now I will have a great spare in the PD2.
I will say that so far I prefer the pedal "throw" on the ProDig2 better than
the RS ....but then again I just got it, so I havent got to wring it out
yet......I'd buy the ProDig again simply for the great customer service I
got, and wouldnt have ordered the RS if I dreamed Guillemot would replace my
wheel after 9 months, no receipt, etc.(the software wasnt too friendly to me
either btw) ......and that wheel did go thru some serious hell!! Go for it!
