NR2002-Back-up Help Needed!!!!!

by TlgtrPr » Thu, 19 Jun 2003 04:23:04

I am having computer problems and hope someone can help.  I am in an offline
racing league for NR02.  I have been having CTD problems generally on the
machine.  I am possibly looking at reformat of the HD! (At best..)..  If I back
up my 'season' file (under my player name) (after each race) and the cars
directory (so I have the required carset) will this save the info I need to be
able to keep going in my league if I have to reinstall the game?

Any help appreciated.  I think I know what to do--but confirmation would be
comforting.......

You will want to--- also save your /papyrus/Nascar racing 200X/player's_name
folder, that is where your setups are, if you have any...

My setups are the only thing I have backed up, as I can download cars
anytime, but the setups????  sometimes you cannot get them back to what you
had changed things too.

Thanks for the reply.  We race in arcade (it's a VERY low level league among
some coulples..)..so set up's are not an issue.

Thanks again
