New Team for F1 2000

Is it possible to add a new team to F1 2000 as in not replacing any of the
original. I know with EA its rather technical to do this sort of stuff. An
tutorials of any sort would be great as far as adding and painting cars.

thx

I created a 12th team, and added the files to a 12th directory under
season00\vehicles. the game started but failed when I went to a track. I
think it will be possible, but all the correct txt files will have to be in
sync for it to work. I didn't add drivers 23 and 24, and thats something I
will try. I noticed in the *.aiw files for each track, there are 24 "slot"
definitions numbered [Slot00] to [Slot23] . I think they define pit slots,
but why 24?

Bob,

They did that for the future. There is one more slot available for the
real F1 teams and from what I understand, Toyota will be fielding a
team in 2001 or 2002.  12 teams total so the game has it built in for
the future releases of F1 200x.
