Tomorrow(Friday) 8pm EST .  All slowpokes are welcome.  Maybe we'll go 3-5
laps.  This will probably end up being "whoever survives - wins"....<g>

Eh - I did stay home :)

Eldred,

I'd love to race against you but I'm not sure if I'm permitted. I have
managed a lap without a spin and even one under 10 minutes (see
"Organisation" above).

Please post the qualifying standard!

Tony

Yeah, please... I usually do sub-9minute laps; -guess that disqualifies me,
huh? What if I use the BRM? ;-)

Then again, a race at 2am (my time)... sheeesh!

Jan.

  I just drove an 11:36, I guess I qualify...however, the gearing was
all wrong, I could only make 145mph top speed.  Perhaps I can lower that
by a few seconds with longer gearing..;>

Rats, I hadn't thought of a qualifying standard.  There were a few of us who
had lap times over 10 minutes.  How about 9:25 or greater?  That would give us
slowpokes a "rabbit" to chase...<g>

If you use the Cooper in the race, you can join.  You're the Rabbit!  <g>

by Phil Le » Sat, 03 Jun 2000 04:00:00

No probs, I'll drive the Cooper.  I would like to point out that
9:25 is my PB for the Ring.  My best times in the other cars are:

Lotus: 9:58.29
Brabham: 9:37.80
Ferrari: 9:30.82
BRM: not completed a lap (can't see the line through the
windscreen!)
Eagle: not completed a lap
Honda: not completed a lap

My other times should qualify me for slowpoke status.

See you later (if I'm awake!).

Cheers

Phil
