I may be about 10-15 minutes late.  I got stuck at work.
Sorry to the UK drivers... :(

I don't believe it. I just checked my best time to make sure I'm "legal" and
I find that on 28/12/99 I did 8.59.55, and in a race at that. The shock must
have been so great that it caused immediate amnesia. It was in the Eagle
apparently. Obviously I'm disqualified from the race, I'll just slink off
into a corner and hide my shame.

This is worrying. The other day I joined a race at Monza that I guess didn't
allow my usual Lotus and dumped me in the Brabham. I drove a couple of laps
of practice (I checked, I've never driven the Brabham there before)......and
found myself on pole! (OK, with a 1.33). I even led the race for a couple of
laps before I over-experimented at the Parabolica. You realise what this
means - I may be getting the hang of this game! After only 18 months! I may
even try a lap of Monaco.

Have a good race, sorry I can't be with you (sob!). Make sure there's a full
report.

Sorry you got booted.  I managed third, 2:40 odd behind the winner.  We must
try that again sometime, maybe earlier in the evening <g>

Cheers

Not much to report.  Friday Night Disco... :(
I think we started with about 16, and 6 finished.  We had the usual starting
line cluster(bleep), and I got disconnected about 4-5 corners in...  Maybe I'll
try again after the 12th.  Maybe on a weekend, so you guys on the other side of
the pond can join.

Even with the new "disco-fix" patch from Papyrus?  That sounds more
like the "bad old days" before the patch.  Hmmm...

Bringing people together who don't usually race eachother you take pot luck
with reference to connections.

Very unfortunate though... we should have more races where the "speed
threshold" is not intimidating.

If I'd known I was going to a disco I'd have worn
flares.
I was one of though's that got discoed at about
turn 5, then my PC locked
up returning to WinVROC.
Oh well maybe next time.

Hey guys, I have an idea.

Howabout a challenge race?

The official F1 slowpokes team Vs the GPVL F3 aces. Could make for an
interesting evening's entertainment. Any takers?
