Audio Problem in F1 2000

by Parabolic » Mon, 03 Apr 2000 05:00:00

I've been running the Myth release for the last week (shush already, I
just bought the game today!)  Anyways, I hacked the game for the tobacco
cars as I'd seen here, and then I developed some audio problem.  What
happens is that the audio stutters while entering and leaving a race
session.  It's only cropped up since I changed the files.  I figured when
I bought the game, I'd just overwrite the bad stuff, but it's still
there.  Could I have affected something in the registry, and it's in a
different place than where the retail version places its files?  I'm a
dullard at registry tweaking, so I hope that's not it.  Anyone have any
ideas?

P.s.:  I even updated my audio drivers, and even made sure my DirectX 7.0
sound files were installed and active.  Still nada...
