Hercules Thriller Question (for use with GPL)

There are "white box" versions of the Thriller (AGP & PCI) available for
considerably less money, does anyone know whether there are hardware
differences between the retail versions and the "white box" (OEM?)
versions?  Hercules has proven to be of no use in answering this.

no difference, just make sure the seller has good return policies just in
case

The "White box versions are the same as their "retail boxed"
counterparts, but without the frills, ie games, worthless manufacturer
utilities, and colorful retail box. These white box versions are meant
for OEM's (Computer manufacturers) but some get out to the consumer
market. The only thing they might lack is the mfg. warranty, but if
the thing works well out of the box, don't fret about a warranty. I've
never seen a video card "break"
