Hi all,

I have been experiencing random freezes (or lock up) of my PC since the installation of my Thriller 8 meg PCI card.  While I understand that Hercules is supposed to release new drivers "soon", I did find an impressive "fix" in the Thriller news group.  It's a relatively simple procedure, and has been working GREAT on my system.  If any Thriller owners are experiencing lock up (hard re-boot needed to return to Win '95), send me an e-mail and I'll send you the files and procedure to repair the drivers.

server, and the specific group is:

rendition.v2k.thriller_3d

I have found it to be a very slow server (even on my cable modem), but the info is worth the wait and there isn't a large # of messages so it's not too bad to retrieve.
