GP3, Monaco, keyboard control, is it possible?

by Andrew R. Gillet » Thu, 03 Aug 2000 04:00:00

From what I've seen so far, it DOESN'T ACTUALLY SEEM POSSIBLE to drive at
Monaco with the keyboard. Every time I get to the hairpin, I just go
straight into the wall - it just doesn't seem to give me enough steering.
I always have to reverse out to be able to continue. I tried maximising
the downforce, and it still didn't work. I'm going at about 20-30.

In the controller setup, try and increase 'max steering lock' from the
default 12 degrees to something higher.

It is easily possible, try pulling to the far right of the track and then
*** left almost at last minute, works for me, everytime!

Its because your steering lock is set to 13 ...change it to 20 in a USER
DEFINED set of controls

I had this with my wheel
but changing max steering lock from 12 to 20 sorted it
it might work for keys too
