Otherwise, could you guys suggest a reasonably good steering wheel type
control for a regular PC laptop, would have to be USB I guess.

Can't comment on the current crop of wheels. Personally, I'm very happy with
my LWFF and am pretty sure I could get used to a Formula Force GP, but on
the other hand I've heard some very negative comments about that one.

If your stuck for the meantime, a joysticks not bad. But a wheel is
even better. Apparently the MS wheel chews a bit of CPU power though.
My Saitek wheel is alright, non FF tho.
