Reduce the keyboard typematic rate by using this DOS command before you
start the game using command 'mode con rate=5 delay=1' at the DOS prompt.

'rate' is the rate of repeating the keystroke when you hold down a key,
value range from 1 to 32, delay is the time lapse between the key stroke
start to take effect and the moment you hit the key. YOu can know more
using help in DOS.

I try this and found it help reducing wheel lock in GP2 during braking. It
is not a perfect solution but it seems helping me a little. It seems also
reduce the acceleration as well so don't use a 'rate value' that is too
low.

i need to try this out because it makes no sense considering GP2 uses an
keyboard interrupt service routine.  That is, it detects if a key is down
or not, not wether the bios is 'repeating.'  This is obvious while
accelerating or steering.. if the game used a 'repeat' method, it would
steer/accel for a second then not do anything, then start steer/accel again.
also when occupancy gets way high (like smoke filled screen ,700%) it
would beep.

someone try this and satisfy my curiousity!
