I've just upgraded the drivers and turned on full screen anti'aliasing. AND
nothing different. Anyoneknow why? Opengl works, but not D3D in N3. Can
anyone help?

Those 5.x drivers are *truly* beta drivers--no other beta drivers I've seen
from nVidia are as unstable in as many applications.  It's been a ***shoot
as to what works and works right with them.  Among things that don't: N3,
GPL, USAF.   Right now using them isn't worth the trouble they cause, IMO.

I can't get it to work in Direct 3d either. Works good in OpenGL though. At
640x480 it's great , it makes it so much smoother it looks like 1280x1024.
However it's not much use because if you've got a GeForce you'll want to run
things at high res (1024x768 and above) and then it looks no different and
just makes things slower so what is the point?

The new drivers are fast mind you.

N3 can run using OPen GL?????

I thought it was just Glide and D3d. Personally I hate D3D. I think it is a
sluggish peice of crap. If N3 ran in poen GL I bet it would be much
smoother.

I currently Use a Geforce DDR

There is a beta patch for gpl that enables opengl.  It has several
very problematic limitations.  Incar the framerate just drops to half of
what it should be.  The problem comes from the 3d***pit and the 2d
mirrors.  Kinda like hitting F2+enter in N3.  There are some registry
hacks that can improve things.  Rumour also has it a D3d rasterizer is
being worked on.  But as of this date, no real proof of that exists.
