Mystique and N2

Hi all. I have recently upgraded (if you can call it that) to the Matrox
Mystique video card and Nascar2 does not seem very happy at all.
'Uvconfig.exe' (Univbe 5.3) reports a 'divide by zero' error when I try
to initialize the card so I cannot use it. What's worse, N2 hangs as
soon as it tries to go to a race (anything 'on' a track), even though
all the menus appear fine. Other DOS games seem to be ok: GP2, Nascar1,
F22, Mech2, etc. Can anyone help me with this as i sure don't want to
wait around for Matrox (or Papyrus) to respond!

I'm running in DOS (F8; version with Win95 4.00.950b). The Matrox card
is running BIOS ver.1.3. Any ideas sports fans? Any help would be
greatly appreciated!

I had the Mystique card and it worked fine with Nascar2. Are you running
in a Dos window or are you shutting down and rebooting to Dos? If not
you might want to go- start, shutdown, reboot to dos- as that is how I
got mine to run.

First, DELETE uvconfig.exe. This will eliminate your loading problem.
Second, From Win95, click on START, then click on restart in MS-DOS
mode.
There really is no need to bootup in dos (F8) and therefore gives you
more options.

I hope that this helps you.
