Dunno, they never made the CTS addon for N4, likely won't happen for 2002
either. Pure speculation, but I would not hold my breath. It isn't just the
physics and graphics, it also new tracks. Apprently too much work for
Papy...sorry Papy for the slam, but a LOT of folks would like to see the
trucks and new tracks. I have owned the NR series since verision 1, but did
not go online or join a league until the CTS addon came out for N3 and I
dearly miss the trucks. We want to race the truck, hehe.

If you look through the .ini files for Nascar 4, you'll see that
someone at Papyrus had apparently expected a Busch or Truck expansion
since there is a place to define physics for different vehicle types.
If there is not a Busch or Craftsman expansion, it will be because
Sierra doesn't view them as money makers, not because Papyrus isn't
interested. If Papyrus called the shots, we'd probably have Grand
Prix Legends 2 and Indycar 3 by now.

The thing that boggles me is that Papyrus has already put the hooks in for
different classes. N4 and N2002 have a file structure and online reporting
that can easily allow more than one class or division of racing. They've
even got a coloum for it on the N4 multiplayer server selection
screens...(haven't checked 2002 yet tho) so I would think they have at
least explored this avenue...I would think the disappointing retail response
to the CTS truck pak for N3, retailors wouldn't even stock the product,
probably put the Kibosh(kie-Bosch)<think David Hobbs> on any more
trackpak/expansion efforts by Papyrus.

Hopefully, there is something different. CMON NOW, just something
different. We aren't necessarily asking the biggest/best/greatest. Just...
something... different...
You guys gambled in 1994 when you released something called "Nascar Racing".

Do you think that might have been because of all the problems and bad press
with N4? If you look at the general reactions to NR2002 vs. N4 I think it
made sense to dump N4 ASAP.
Damn straight!
