I have WINvroc installed , but have problems with this in XP .. there is a
problem that occurs when i start
vroc that says " The procedure entry point RichEdit10ANSIWndProc could not
be located in the dynamic link library RICHED20.dll", can anyone help me
with this problem , ? i also get disconnected from the vroc server when i
race multiplayer games connected to WinVROC

Kjell, I just installed XP yesterday and am getting the exact same error
message, click ok and get another referring to the same .dll, click ok and I
can see the race list and join races from there, but go back to VROC and I
get the same error messages again. Uninstalled and reinstalled WinVROC, but
no joy....it does still work, sort of, but it bugs me, hope there's a
workaround.

Hi Ed .. ill let you know when i have the problem solved ..
there is a protection in XP that protects the dynamic link library "dlls"
to be overvritten without a Digitally signed driver from Microsoft? i went
to windows update sites today , and there was a critical update
that supported a lot of programs ..

Hi all,

just delete/rename the riched20.dll that resides in your WinVROC
directory. There is an XP version in system32 that works, the
WinVROC local version does not work with XP.

This happened to me several months ago. Just rename riched20.dll to
_riched20.dll and it will work fine just as Tom said. Good luck!

Same thing in win2K, if anyone doesn't know that...
