Winvroc problem

by jld » Mon, 10 Jan 2000 04:00:00

hi!
I have a new problem because after having installed Winvroc 2.1 after a
fresh install of winvroc2.0 (as mentionned in the installation
procedure) i just cannot log into Vroc server. I just get the chat room
working, but no race list. I've verified the path for gpl 1.2 directory
and it's ok.

Everything was ok with winvroc 2.0. What's wrong???
Thanks in advance to help this poor GPL driver left alone at the side of
the track with a mechanical failure....

I was having the same problem earlier and it has always worked.  No race
list for me but for everyone else.  An hour later and now it works...

Delete all references to VROC on your hard drive, use every trick you know
including regedit.
Then install VROC 2.1 using the full install, NOT the patch. Once you get to
VROC recheck the path in the vroc menu -options in VROC, you may also have
to close and restart VROC a couple of times. Your'e not the only one
(including me) keep trying, it's worth it.
