Direct7 makes a lot of joysticks not work. Wait for DirectX 7.01 or
something to come out.

I have found the opposite to be true.
My TM stick < X-fighter> was never so precise as
it is since installing DX7
For the record PII 300a OCed 450
128MB Sdram, SB Live etc.
I also installed the media pack
Dont know if that made a diff.
But as I said the stick is much better than ever before.
< 3 years worth ;-) >

Well for one thing, my DirectInput and DirectSound showed that
it was DX5 in DXSETUP until I installed DX7.

In my case DX7 is working fine. Also, once you go to DX7
there is no way to back out to DX6 and still have your FF
wheel work. Especially if you have a Logitech USB :-)
