I have downloaded directx7 and I get the error when I try to install

(extracting file failed. Most likely caused by low memory or corrupted
cabinet file)

Does anyone know what this means. It cant be that I dont have enough
memory because I still have 670meg left. Please any help would be
greatly appreciated

I would try downloading it again.  I've had similar problems before with
corrupted downloads.  If you've done that, then I'm at a lose.

Hope I helped,
