Thal all depends on what sort of GF4 you have, what games you play,
and whether you like things like FSAA.

I do not think you will get your money's worth just by buying a faster card.
Frankly, what you have is more than sufficient for NR2003.  I have no idea
what other games you play...

A happy card is a well-fed card.  You do not posses the 'chow' to feed one
of todays high-end cards.

Normally, this wouldn't worry me much.  You could buy a high-end card and
always use it on a new system.  However, we are about to make a major
architectural change on the PC to PCI-X, and AGP is going away.  Supposidly
in the first quarter some time, but you know how that goes :)

It's a rough time to consider upgrades.  Prescott, PCI-X, Athlon-64, what to
do.. What do do ?

I have no idea what that is.  Is it a Ti4400?  Ti4600?

Nothing beats CPU cycles and you have a decent graphics adapter already.  As
Larry says though their is quite a bit brewing on the near horizon.  You can
wait but then in a few months there will be a whole new crop of new
technologies you could wait another few months for, then recycle repeat :)
Bottom line is how soon do YOU want to upgrade and is the benefit worth the
expense?

Personally I would upgrade the mobo/cpu/mem to either a AMD64 or maybe an
Extreme P4 (if money isnt an issue).  If on a budget something like a P4-2.8
800mhz fsb with a good asus/abit mobo (865-875 based).  In a few months
maybe drop in a new video card then you'll have it all with not so much pain
:)

Mitch

I just upgraded to mid range. Just about what Mitch described but added a DVD
burner and a 120g HD. Too many future options ahead to spend more than that
right now.
