A happy card is a well-fed card. You do not posses the 'chow' to feed one
of todays high-end cards.
Normally, this wouldn't worry me much. You could buy a high-end card and
always use it on a new system. However, we are about to make a major
architectural change on the PC to PCI-X, and AGP is going away. Supposidly
in the first quarter some time, but you know how that goes :)
It's a rough time to consider upgrades. Prescott, PCI-X, Athlon-64, what to
do.. What do do ?

Personally I would upgrade the mobo/cpu/mem to either a AMD64 or maybe an
Extreme P4 (if money isnt an issue). If on a budget something like a P4-2.8
800mhz fsb with a good asus/abit mobo (865-875 based). In a few months
maybe drop in a new video card then you'll have it all with not so much pain
:)

I just upgraded to mid range. Just about what Mitch described but added a DVD
burner and a 120g HD. Too many future options ahead to spend more than that
right now.
