GTR 2002 - Enough horsepower ?

by Robert Grave » Fri, 06 Dec 2002 10:50:27

Hi.

I have a Celeron overclocked to 850 (566) and an ATI Radeon 64 VIVO.

Is it enough to run GTR 2002 or would I be wasting money in buying the game
, and time downloading the mod ?

Many thanks for your recommendations.

The game would be playable on that system - don't expect to use anything
other than low detail though.

<Sigh> And to think when you'd run Revs on 2 Mhz (Acorn BBC), it was
fast too.

On an 850 Mhz system like this it'd launch you to the moon...

I have similar specs - 566 o/c- 850, 64mb GF2 MX400, 256mb ram, XP. I cant
run a GT/NGT race, but one or the other is fine, with detail on medium to
high so it looks great still. A race with both classes is not even drivable
during practise, i tried for about 5mins and it was totally un-acceptable :)
