NFS:PU -- Maybe it's KPH

Is the speedometer in NFS:PU in miles per hour, or kilometers per
hour?  When I'm going '120' in the older cars, it sure feels like a
leisurely drive down the interstate.  Could someone clarify this?

Also, I think if the top is down, the engine sound should be louder.
From my experience, it isn't.  Fun game, though.

Its kph, the 356 porsche for exemple has 90hp. Also porsche is a German
company, and lots of countries in the game are European, even if there
is NO
such wide track in Europe especialy in "Cote d'Azur" where sometimes you
can't event drive two cars side to side :o)

Actually,

There is an option to set it to MPH or KPH.  I think it defaults to KPH, so
that's what it will be if you haven't changed it.

The default speedo reading IS in KPH in NFSPU -- and contrary to some
reports, you CAN change change this from KPH to MPH.  It's buried in the
options menus, I think, under "displays."

if buried means right on the page with all your HUD settings...

With "buried" being a relative term, meaning, "It's in there somewhere,
but I can't remember where . . ."

The first 356's had an amazing output of 40 hp!

This is an option you can change under the settings.

Cheers,

Mike.
