Force RS - cornering

If anyone can answer some of my questions, I would appreciate it.

I find that there is really no force it NFS: PU unless you are actually
turning the wheel where there becomes loads of force.   I can be cornering
at high speed on a sharp bend but if I just hold the steering in the same
position there is no force at all.  Is this right?

It is in fact, so stiff that in the IFORCE studio demos where you have a
picture of a spring either side of the central position (where turning the
wheel compresses the springs to show you how the force should spring the
wheel
back to the centre), that the wheel needs a little push for the spring
effect to
kick in.   Is this stiffness why I'm feeling no 'pulling' on corners ?

Its new but its stiff and pretty notchy too.   I know this is supposed to
get
better but how many hours of play are we talking before it gets as good
as its going to get?

Or is it 'not right' ?

Thanks

Steve

There is no FFB on the Ferrari wheel (IForce also) in GPL unless you are
turning it...I have complained about this repeatedly and asked if the
Logitech is the same.  Most people ignore the comments and questions as
though they are irrelevant.  I can't believe everyone else isn't noticing
this gaping hole in the design of....the wheel?...the drivers??

That depends on how you have the core.ini settings tweaked.  It's
possible to have the wheel saw back and forth on its own if you set the
core.ini up that way.  It sounds like you have to fine-tune your
core.ini settings to your taste.  I certainly can feel the FF when the
front tires go up hills or crest a hill, etc....

FWIW in the NFS Porsche demo , my LWFF does lots of stuff when the wheel
isn't being turned, in fact it does too much. I probably have it set too
high, but trying to just drive down the road at 40 MPH feels like you have a
flat tire.
