compatible game for MS force wheel

hi

looks like it will be a MS force wheel USB for me.
I wonder if any driving games that are NOT COMPATIBLE
with this wheel.

ie GPL is MSDOS, will it recognize USB wheel ?
how about RS 2000 etc ?

Reluctantly accept this wheel because my table has
3 inch lip that Thrustmaster ferrari wheel could not
slip into ( did not try but measured it ).

any other suggestions welcomed

GPL is for windows, not DOS.

I have that wheel and it works fine in all the games I have. USB only works
in Windows though so don't expect it to work with any dos games. As someone
pointed out already, GPL is a Windows games so it will work fine.

thks

wondered how I got that impression about
GPL ???

anycase, how about the 3 inch lip thing ??
it is getting the clamp to the table that got me
worried as well as the FRAMERATE hit.........

Marc
did you use FRAPS to check the framerate with & without
MS FF wheel ???

I wonder if there is any solution for the framerate hit
problem yet ?

Yea, the MS clamping system is the best out there IMO.

No I haven't, but I have never noticed a frame rate problem either. I'll run
N4 with it on and off and post back the results.

I have a MSFF USB wheel and with my "old" P3-850, I noticed the frame hit in
Nascar Heat and a few other games. Usually 8-10 fps less (using FRAPS)
compared to just an analog joystick. Since upgrading to my Athlon XP +1800,
the system has horsepower to spare and all games run beautifully (joy).

Jeneral, Sir

do you atttribute the  framerate hit to USB ?
or the profiler
what other items could it be......

what size of RAM were on your P3-850 ?
and now ?

My impression is that RAM was a contribution factor

an other interesting point to note is that
NO OTHER WHEEL report of framerate hits ????

.
noticed the frame hit in
to my Athlon XP +1800,
