Story One
"I bought a new wheel and pedals - very nice they are as well"
Story Two
"I bought a new wheel and pedals but they stopped working after about an
hour - the manufacturers said the quickest option was to take it straight
back to the shop for an immediate exchange - so I was only without my wheel
for an hour"
Story Three
"I bought a new wheel and pedals but they stopped working after about an
hour - the manufacturers told me to cut some of it's cables off, post the to
them, then I waitied 9 days for them to send me a new one"
Which would YOU rather enjoy - and, in the unfortunate incident that the
wheel were to not work after about an hour - which, from 2 or 3, would you
prefer?
Of a choice of no days, perhaps half a day, or a week and a half - which
would you rather go without your wheel for? Which option of the three offers
the best service.
We had a monitor die at work at about 3ish in the afternoon. Courier arrived
before lunchtime following day - gave us a new one, took the old one away.
Granted - the monitor itself was exceedingly average Iiyama rubbish - BUT -
their service was superb
Had a graphics card arrive at home from an online retailer and it had been
damaged in transit. New one arrived via a courier service the following
day - and took the damaged one home after I'd sent the retailer some
pictures of it. Excellent service on behalf ot the retailer. 24 hour turn
around.
Waiting 9 days to have a brand new object replaced is not good service - or
am I just totally wide of the mark here? I'm a Logitech fan ( I am MR
carbon fibre Momo mod - love the wheel to bits - and I'm lusting ater their
MX700 Wireless mice as well ) - BUT- 9 days is NOT good service at all.
If we're just going to fling personal insults however, then perhaps you
could time references to my mother and hospital a little better than the
week in which my Mother and Uncle sat at my grandfathers bedside and
whatched him die. I'll be sure to think of you when addressing the
post-funeral lunch guests next wednesday - I'll need a laugh.
