Hello,

I have a K7M from ASUS, Athlon 700, 128Megs, TNT2 and a 3DFX2 12megs (for
GPL only).

Since 2 days everytime I use the 3DFX (like GPL or a 3DFX screensaver but
not rally master for example) the MB is making some beeps, the game runs,
but the mobo is making some beeps, not only the usual beep, but beeps with
a different tone, it sounds really EXACTLY the very old PONG games from the
late 70's...

On one hand it is really funny to hear blip, blonk and so on but I am a
little concerned about it.

has anyone got this problem before ? and a way to solve it ?

What was the last thing you did to your system? Hardware or software...

Thx for your answer...BUT

I did.....NADA. Nothing, nope,

I installed the discofix patch for GPL, worked for 3 days and then started
beeping... but I didn't do anything regarding the video board or MB or
3DFX...

(And i do 9.26.50 at the ring...)

I reckon Richard Beckett gets my vote as most likely to succeed in
diagnosing your problem
those Voodoo's run hot ... and the MOBO will have a heat alarm.... so I
too reckon that will be what you are hearing....
most plausible explanation award.

Thx for the input, but why would the beeping occur only when i use my 3DFX
on a screen saver or GPL ?
