Can someone give me an idea of the performance of the Radeon 7500 cards in
the above sims  - particularly in comparison with GeForce GTS cards - still
trying to sort out the best price/performance card (isn't everyone?)
                                    TIA...
                                    Phillip..

I don't know about the sim performance, but all the articles I've read
show the Radeon 7500 as very similar performance to GF2 GTS/pro cards.

Once the driver issues are sorted, the Radeons will be fantastic
cards. But it may take some time...

Let me add that the graphics are poor for GPL on the ATI card... although it
looks lovely and runs well with open GL if you have to use direct x , it
sucks in my opinion, very poor draw ahead in GPL, the track textures are
just grey sludge from a few feet in front of the car...
        It's either a pci voodoo 5 or a gf2 ...  and I own a radeon. !jv

I used to have a Radeon and dumped it for a GF3 as soon as I could afford
one.

I've temporarily had to step back to a radeon borrowed from work while my
GF3 plays surrogate in my work 3D Machine due to an RMA on it's proper card.

GOOD GOD THE RADEON WAS A NIGHTMARE.

I really miss my GF3 :D  It's like getting a mobile phone and then wondering
how you ever lived without it
