Not bad time at Imola

Not bad time at Imola

Okay. I admit I was wrong.

I APOLOGISE HEAVILY

I went home this afternoon and tried soome new setups which I thought would
be badly balanced and spin me a lot. So I tried a quick qualifying at Imola
and clocked 1:18.8 . I have never been so fast in my life!!!!!!

So more apologies to anyone I insulted.

Where would this time place me in the Hall of Fame then?

I'll have gone faster by tomorrow. Whoa1

Long live F1GP

Hey, this is USENET, where everyone but me is wrong.  :-)

[1:18.8??]

.7s behind the lowest point-scoring player (the gap from him to the
fastest time is about 3s, so that's not really all that bad).  Keep at
it; I sometimes wonder how many hours a day certain players spend at it
to get the times they manage... (yes, Rene & Robin, Doug, and Ivanhoe,
I mean you!)

Hear hear!

Happy racing!

So you would have placed 13th, just above my own time. But I have also
gone faster, so this looks like the attack on Imola-times has started :-)

Well, Dave, why can't we just be fast by nature?  Natural talent, and all
that...

FWIW, my wings and brakes for Imola are:  FW=64, RW=37, Bias = 7R.

... still gets 199 down the straight.
