  Hiya... I had my first taste of GP2 yesterday... Concentrated
on Imola 'cause it's a track that I know from before. My best time
(driven in "Practice any circuit" mode) after about 2 hours of
driving was 1.21.471. Kinda disappointing, since I was looking
forward to driving this thing for weeks before coming anywhere
near the circuit records and pole times. Well, full race might
be a different thing altogether I guess. It would be cool to know
what times other people are getting, as it seems it will be a while
before the HOF is up and running. The Microprose staff times were
a good start, thanks a lot to whoever posted them, but now we need
people to push the limits a bit further :) I look forward to seeing
my time beaten with some 2 seconds or something.

  Hi y'all, managed to improve my time on Imola somewhat, it is now
1.21.267... Sadly my news server is very slow, people have probably
posted 1.19.xxx times by now but they haven't arrived here... If
anyone wants a hint regarding setups, I have had most luck by
dropping my wing settings pretty low for good straight speed
and also lowering the ride height/stiffening the suspension.
Ah, back to driving :)

  Ok hope this works, here are my two best hotlaps on Imola and
Monaco so far. The Imola time is 1.21.267 and the Monaco one
is 1.18.267. If you have any questions regarding setups or so,
feel free to mail me.
