Road Atlanta for GTR 2002 problem

I installed the Road Atlanta track for GTR 2002. I set the number of
cars to 24 and the pit animation to low.  But I'm still having several
problems with the track.

1- I'm driving the Lamborghini and when I enter the pits to start practice I
keep on landing in an pit stall that already has another car in it. I'm able
to drive right through it to the track but it looks weird.
2- There are 2 to 3 cars that are pitted on the pit straight opposite of the
inside line and one car pitted on the grass by the pit wall.
3- When I try to start a race all the cars including me are flying through
the air and I get black flagged for jumping the start!

I know that I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out.

Sounds like the AI file for Road Atlanta wasn't designed for a big field.
Try reducing the # of cars to only 21(Plus your car for a 22 car field)
There are four lines in the player(i.e JoelW.plr) file and one line in
the gtrconfig.ini that control the # of cars.
I have only run a few recon laps so I haven't seen these problems yet.

Finall got Road Atlanta to work. Still not sure what was wrong. I just
deleted the track and reinstalled it.  I made sure that I only had 24 cars
and pit animation set to low.  I still have one car pitting on the outside
of the pit straight, but the flying cars are gone at the start.

Like Dave said, I think you're supposed to limit the number of cars to 22
for this track (yourself included). I read that somewhere, probably at one
of the simmod forums.
