Joe...
AI I cant help you with,
AFAIK now... if player one has his "own" or one of the carset car picked...
well 1st of all, you'll need to notice inside the MAIN SCREEN click on
PLAYER INFO screen, NOTICE that there is a car for ONLINE and OFFLINE which
you are able to select for each series, ONLINE still used in LANs...
OFFLINE means by yourself against AI no networking at all. Old but kept
that way I guess since early days...
ALSO notice the file name of car selected. Now as long as each other
player, has a copy of that same exactly named carfile (minus the ".car" is
shown on screen), is PLACED in his ...Series/{MOD}/cars/ ((MOD right
there, means CUP, CTS, BGN, etc...)) folder. Example, lets say if that
Lan_host1 say, DOESN'T have lan_person1's carfile, then on Lan_Host1's
screen, that lan_person1's car is represented with GENERIC single color cars
without numbers painted on it. this will be true on lan_host1's PC and
anyone else that doesnt have the Correcly named file in the correct
location...
