Yes, v0.4.5 non-beta.
It's still too slippery, but a major bug was fixed in the physics
code; forward/backward forces in the tires wanted to push the car in
the wrong direction (!). That it still worked is beyond me. ;-)
Anyway, the changes:
- Physics code patched
- Ctrl-L and Ctrl-S now let you load and save the game state (Save
Game)
- P pauses the game much better now; no more time jumps after
unpausing
- The Viper & Porsche cars should work again, although their bounding
boxes are a bit too big so they get stuck in the tarmac soon.
- A timing bug was found which gave inaccurate time simulation. You
probably won't notice it. :)
- Optional physics settings; in debug.ini, use car.wheel_lock_adjust
to turn on/off a force direction modifier when the wheel locks up.
Also, car.use_slip2fc determines whether the slip2fc.crv file is used
(more slipperyness!)
