ICR II sucks rocks!!

Now that I have your attention...  :)  I'm getting really pissed off at
ICR II.  I've been doing a lot of head to head racing with a friend.  There
are some serious problems with yellow flags.
1.  It doesn't come out if the two humans wreck and it doesn't involve
AI cars.  It will come out after an AI car comes in and hits us while we
try to pull apart.  If the yellow would come out many of these additional
accidents could be avoided.

2.  When the yellow does come out when your involved with an AI car, it
usually takes a couple of seconds allowing you to fall many places back.
This isn't so terrible, probably pretty realistic.

3.  When the yellow comes out after a wreck, sometimes the message pops
out telling you to stay behind the pace car.  The problem is I'm already
behind the pace car.  If I stop and wait for the pace car I get lapped
and fall down 1 to 3 laps.  This happens to me and my race partner about
every 5th race or so.  It's not exact.  We can't recreate the bug.  This
happens at Louden.  We haven't had the chance to race at any other track
to check this out.  This bug infuriates me.

4.  The well known bug that allows you to pass the pace car if your a lap
down.  Carry over from Nascar apparently.

I hope you fix these problems Papyrus.  Thanks for listening to my venting.

Later,
Beau

True. I span at Detroit today in single player mode after a AI car
brake tested me. I was facing the wrong way and assumed that the
yellow would come out. It didn't and I dropped from 3rd to 23rd.

Also true.

Again this happened to me at Detroit. I came into the last corner. As
the Pace car peeled off, I got on the gas little early and, as a
result I crossed the line ahead of the Pace Car that was in the pits.
I got black flagged and carried on around ready to pit.

Trouble is, as I started to pull off into the pits, a yellow came out
and intead of getting a stop go, I got 40 gals of fuel and fresh
***. When I pulled out I was told to "stay behind #32" a car in
23rd place when I was 3rd when black flagged. Not one to argue I
parked and waited for them to come round and got in ine.
However, when car 32 when past me I was told to get behind the
car in front of that which was num 5. So I did. And was told to get
behind the carn in fron of Num 5. And so on up to the pace car.

All the way behind the Pace car to the chequred flag I was told
"stay behind pace car" so I had been doing what I was told.

I crossed the line and was DQ'd for passing under yellow.

Now, I;m ***at Detroit and was not well chuffed at having to start
again because the AI***ed up!

Milwaulkee was mayhem because of this. The Pace car was leading the
lapped cars whilst those 1 lap ahead (including me) were lost as to
who to follow. We all passed the pace car, keeping to 80mph, whilst
the lapped cars passed the pace car, and us, at racing speed.

I was a bit lost to say the least!

Hear Hear!
