Gee, last I heard was that Jacques moved up to Formula One! Maybe he'll
appear in Microprose GP2?

Huh? I suppose GP2 is based on the 1994 season. Jacques wasn't in there.
(hint hint: editors anyone?) Is ICR2 based on the 1995 season? If so,
there Papyrus must have left him out for some reason, maybe licensing
problems.

I'm pretty sure it's licensing problems. I heard someone say that the
name Villeneuve is already licensed to someone else.

Villeneuve was sponsored by a tobacco company. Therefore Papyrus
couldn't have a fully licenced Players Ltd. car. So I guess they chose to
take him out entirely, instead of putting the car in and plastering Team
Green instead of Players. Just like they did with Penske (and Rhal for
that matter)... But i'm not surprised. They did the same thing with
ICR1, they didn't put Newman-Haas in for some reason (even though the car
was onthe cover). Papyrus probally didn't want to pay for the licencing
fee to be able to put the car into the game, knowing that they couldn't
make the car properly anyways because they can't put Tobaco adds in a game.
The one blue car (Oceon Point I believe) is fairly close to a Players
Ltd, car, the driver's helmet is even patterned off of Vill's.

Some people whould say that the game should contain Villeneuve seeing
how we won the championship... It would be like having an NFL licenced
football game without including the S.F. 49ers.

He was probably to busy eating cheese and drinking wine. Another
example of the "Professional Sports *** Attitude" (PSAA).

Another example of someone shooting off without knowing the facts.
