Guillemot/TM pedal wiring?

Guillemot/TM pedal wiring?

by Simon Brow » Thu, 06 Sep 2001 18:58:07

Hi,

I don't suppose anyone knows the correct wiring for the pedals of the
Guillemot/Thrustmaster Ferrari FF wheel?

Whilst transfering the pots and wiring into a different set of pedals, a
couple of the wires snapped free of the soldering, and I've no idea where
they should go.  The pots and wiring are now back in the Guillemot pedals,
but after trying several times to wire them back up, the pedals still aren't
working right.

I know it's a lot to ask for someone to open up their pedals and draw me a
diagram, but hey, if you never ask...

Basically there are the two pots, one for the throttle, one for the brake,
each with 3 prongs on, which the wires attach to, and then there's about 5
or 6 wires which attach to various prongs, and a couple of wires that go
from prong to prong.  All the wires are seperately coloured.  Just need to
know where they should all go.

Cheers,
Simon.

When I spoke with Guillemot on wiring they referred me to X-Slot
aka Gary D. He has many fixes and I think he knows all the wiring
etc.. for the Guillemot aka TM Ferrari wheel?? Not sure if this will
help but here's homepage http://www.slottweak.com/index.html

Thom, cheers again for recommending Gary's website.  I put a post on his
forum and he came up with a diagram of the wiring, what a top bloke.  Hence
my pedals are now working again :)
