1) Is there a new version of WinMip available that doesn't crash with a
runtime error when you try to convert a 24-bit bmp files back to a mip
file?

2) What program does everyone use to paint?  I've tried Photoshop 3 and
Photoshop 5 and both have their own distict and annoying weaknesses.

Everything you need for GPL !!!

HI John.......I successfully just painted my GPL car with winMIP 1.2b and
you have to read the instructions buddy....it wont accept a 24 bit file
when you re-pack it.Make sure you save your cool new bmp to 16 bit colour
then re-mipp it and re-pack it and voila.....you'll see your new cool
painted car in GPL too...and dont get confused with 16 bit colour being the
same as 16 million colour...2 completely different things.(PSSSST...it's so
awesome having your name on the car)
