GPL car paint jobs

I was wondering if someone could tell me where I can find a web-site with instructions (or
something along these lines)where as I could change/alter/modify the paint jobs of cars in
Grand Prix Legends.

And maybe some one could tell me what programs or applications I might need.

Many thanks.

You need winmip2 and a paint program.

The car folders have mips in them. They are named after the car type and
car number. e.g. Lotus number 10 is lot10.mip. Ferrari car 4 is fer4.mip.

You always drive car 4 offline.

Anyway, open the mip in winmip, convert it to a bmp.
Open that in your paint prog, draw what you want, save it, convert it
back to a mip and put it back in the car folder.

Back up your mips before you mess with them.

Thanks Kev, I appreciate the info. That will be enough to trial and error my way threw it.

I bought GPL in '98, played it for 2 months until the cheep steering wheel I had broke.
Then about a month ago I got a new better steering wheel, and in the 5 years between the
steering wheels GPL just got better and better. Race sims you can modify are cool.
