Painting GPL cars???

Anyone have new paint jobs for the GPL cars??

I have opened the cars.dat file but how do you open a 3do file??

Theoretically we could place our own pictures on the driver info page.

Anyone have any ideas???

You can use the WinMip utility available on The Sim Project:

    http://www.simproject.com

This opens the MIP (image) files, but won't open the 3DO (object) files.

Painting GPL cars???

May not be historical, but I'd love to see someone artistic put an eagle
(bird) on the front of the Eagle (car), like the F-1 Eagle of today.  
Another thought would be to make gauges that you could actually read...

I'm not that artistic, but I took a couple of hours playing with
winmip/paintshop pro, and basically changed the #4 Eagle to be electric
blue, and put an American flag behind the number on both sides.
