You are lucky you got back..  :)  We would have***ed your hide for not being
specific.  lol.   Now the thing is...there is no such thing as a standard cable
connection.   You have to measure your upload speed to find out how much
your cable company is *** off your speed.
Most cable companies provide plenty of download speed, you can dload files,
pictures, surf the web, all with zoom to spare.  But hosting a race requires
upload capability.  Fortunately Papyrus is one of the better companies at
minimizing upload bandwidth, but you will still need to figure about 20kbh per
user(think each user with a 28.8kbs modem)  So if your cable UPLOAD speed
is 128kbs, then you can host 5 or 6.
Lately the Cable companies have been increasing upload speed to approx-
mentally 256kbs.  That means you can host about 10 to 12 users.  Time of day,
neighborhood usage, all effect this number.
Go to a speed site like dslreports. com or use the tech pages at msn to guage
your upload speed.  Remeber to clear the cache in your browser if you repeat
the test.

Thanks, Dave.  My upload seems to stay over 300 (312 to 364), so I guess
about 15 ought to be possible.

One thing to take into consideration is that if you max out your upload
on cable it severely affects your downstream speed. Try surfing the web
while uploading a large file at your max upload speed and see what
happens.
