I wonder what is considered to be a best way to
make it through Massanet. I have quite a bunch of
problems at the entry. If I brake reasonably hard
before the crest and then reduce pressure, I often
end up with the car ***ly turning to the right.
To prevent it I was trying to steer a bit to the left,
then I get left tires on the curb, though I usually
can make through the corner this way, my lap times
suffer. I have tried to brake less hard, but then
I go too wide through the corner. After braking earlier
I can make it but the times are slower and I feel that
I could carry more speed there.
Another problem is steering related. When I am going
through the hairpins it seems that if I go faster the
turning radius increases (car doesn't slide and I
have enough traction). I have steering hack disabled.
The only guess I have is that non-linear steering
produces this effect, though I have it just one slider
length from the full linear. My steering ratio is 11:1.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
