Is it me or does the announcer seem to be less brain damaged than before "the
Patch"?

I'm pretty sure there were a couple of tweaks done for the spotter ... I
don't recall exactly what though, maybe I can ask the programmer what was
fixed.  I think it was some of the repetitive and misleading messages.

I am certain that they took the spotter aside and ran him through a
crash course on spotting (no that's not "train spotting" for you folks
right of the pond).  Especially during wrecks and cautions.  Since I let
N2 sit for awhile awaiting the patch, did he used to say "hold your
line"?  He also seems to be a little bit more conservative when letting
you know you are clear.

"Hold your line" has been in the game since its original release.

Are you suggesting that we are all drug-crazed over here? I happen to live
in the city where trainspotting was based, and we don't all take ***, not
when we're driving anyway :)

John, it may seem strange, but some of us left of the pond knew what
Train Spotting was before there was "the" novel and movie.  I mean it's
a fine art to put those little polka dots on a fast moving train! <g>
