Question about NR2K2 field sizes

by btgos » Fri, 10 May 2002 00:24:24

I have a question about field sizes for a race.
If the admin sets the number of starting cars to 25, but there are more
people who try to qualify, let's say five additional guys. Will the game
allow those extra cars to practice and qualify? Or will the starting field
limit of 25 keep all drivers past the 25th. from logging into the server.
I remember a race on the Sierra servers that had a split car count.
Something like the server supported 30, but the race started 25...and I
remember getting a DNQ (I don't qualify well...) I think it was show like
25/30 or something.

So does anyone know if this will work? Or should the number of cars be
raised?

Thanks,

Brit

it will only let in what it set at , so if its 25, only 25 can connect.
