I notice the drivers use Glide 2.6, and I remeber hearing that GPL ran more
slowly with this version of Glide. Has anyone tried these yet?

Yea, I installed them for my V3 2000.
No slowdown at all.

Anybody knows, if the stutter in MGPRS2 is gone with this drivers?
I'm sick of downloading new drivers in order to find out that the
problems are NOT solved.

I installed the new V3 drivers today and couldn't see a difference
with MGPRS2. Still has stutter...its worse in the***pit view than
the chase view. Doesn't seem to make much difference whether I use
800x600 or 1024x768.

System: P3 500, Voodoo3 3000, SBLive
