Pitting Problems

It seems when I start to come in to pit I lose control of the car
easily and coming out of the pits it's the same.  Any thoughts?

Sounds like you might be having trouble with the banking changes (from
the apron to the track and vice-versa. On the pit-out, stay below the
blend line until you are on the back straight. (Trying to blend it
turn one is asking for a spin, and if you manage to keep the car under
you, it's asking to get hit by faster traffic.)

For pit-in, it's just a matter of slowing more gently, and starting
earlier. You're probably pitting with little or no fuel left, and worn
tires; take your time, until you really get a feel for the car. You
loose a lot more time by even a "simple" spin than you can possibly
gain by haulin' ass into the pits...

This is explainable.  Coming into the pits, your tires will be
considerably worn. Heavy braking and turning will cause them to slide
around more unpredictably. Likewise, cold tires off a pit stop do not
have as much traction as they will in a couple of laps.

Drive carefully!
